Popular Pleasanton, CA Italian Deli Gets a Facelift and Updated Menu

Gimanelli’s famous Italian deli in Pleasanton just underwent a complete remodel. From floor to ceiling the place now has a very updated “homey” look to it. The last time it got overhauled was over 10 years ago so it was much overdue. “The small town atmosphere and energetic staff make you feel welcomed every time you step in the door” says a Nathan, a local frequent Pleasanton diner. The staff knows many customers by name and what they like to order even after only a few visits to the deli. That special feeling, along with a mouth-watering menu, keeps the place busy daily.
No wonder Gimanelli’s Deli & Catering has been awarded the ‘BEST’ award multiple times over the 25+ years by the Pleasanton Weekly and the Tri-Valley Herald. The owner, Dave, takes after hours catering calls 24 hours a day and the staff bends over backwards for its loyal customers. Just recently they expanded the catering menu to include many new dishes while keeping all the signature dishes and recipes the locals have come to love available as well.
